This work is a continuation of the research and creation project Brave (K)new R/Wave.

For this sound-light and soft-space installation, I choreograph space, sound, and light into an experience that supports multiple embodied listening. The sound, based on bass and sub-bass frequencies, is overlayed with vocal and polyvocal elements — including spoken word, song, two samples and responses from friends to project-related questions — is cyclical: from rave to wave, beat to flow, past to future to a sense of timelessness. The space is fully covered in a pink carpet and lit by colour-changing LED lights, with a composed slow-changing timing structure of 50 minutes that matches the duration of the soundscape.

An invitation for visitors to listen to sound, others, and themselves — their body-minds — while dancing, sitting, lying down, rolling on the floor, or moving in ways that resonate. The installation becomes a space for bodily listening, feeling, and imagining.

How can anchoring in embodiment and the creation of inner spaciousness for multiple realities support listening as a basis for social change?
