Soulsongdances is a journey from and for the soul, a movement through the different chakras and their states and qualities of being. An investigation into the body and dance in relation to the breath and the voice, and to life music sourced from the sounds of elements such as water, sand, wood, metal and plastic. Rhythm and musicality become the shaping force of the movements, spacing and timing. Through this process four women are digging into their souls, what is going on and what really matters, from their guts, hearts and minds, as individuals as well as within a group. Inviting their diverse layers of being at play, they are juggling with the multiple forces of the complexity of life.
